To meet these needs, we are excited to announce the launch of the StockHero API Facility, a new feature that provides eligible users with programmatic access to their StockHero accounts.
Designed with professional traders in mind, the API Facility opens up new possibilities for integrating StockHero into users’ own trading infrastructure, data analysis systems, and custom applications.
Phase 1: Read-Only API Access Is Now Available
The launch of the StockHero API Facility will take place in two phases.
The first phase, which is now live, provides read-only access to selected account information. Users can retrieve data such as their deployed trading bots and executed trades, enabling them to incorporate StockHero information into their own systems and analytical workflows.
For example, professional traders can use the API to collect trade records for performance analysis, consolidate bot activity across their trading operations, or build custom dashboards to monitor their strategies.
This initial release lays the foundation for more advanced integrations while allowing users to explore the API’s capabilities without granting it permission to execute trades.
Phase 2: Trading Capabilities Coming in the Future
The second phase is planned to introduce trading capabilities, allowing users to interact with their StockHero bots programmatically.
This future expansion is intended to provide greater flexibility for traders who wish to incorporate StockHero into their own automated trading workflows. Further details will be announced as development progresses.
Available to Professional Annual Subscribers at No Extra Cost
The StockHero API Facility is available as a complimentary add-on exclusively for Professional Annual subscribers.
Professional Annual subscribers who wish to access the API Facility can email our team to request access to the API User Guide. The guide provides the information needed to get started with the API.
We believe this feature will be particularly valuable to experienced traders who want greater control over how they access, analyze, and integrate their trading data.
Security and Beta Availability
Security is a priority in the development of the API Facility. We have implemented multiple security measures to help safeguard users’ account information and prevent unauthorized access. Users should also protect their API credentials and follow our security guidelines.
Please note that the API Facility is currently in beta. During this period, functionality, performance, and available endpoints may evolve as we gather feedback and continue improving the service.
