We are excited to announce the launch of TradeStation (Margin) exchange in StockHero. This new exchange type reads your TradeStation margin balance and allows you to place sell (shorts) orders without owning the actual stock.

For traders who trade shorts, this new feature would suit them perfectly.

To add TradeStation (Margin), simply go to StockHero >> Settings >> Exchange API and select “TradeStation (Margin)”.

All Shorts Strategy setup by bots connected to TradeStation (Margin) will now execute on a “borrowed stock” basis that allows you to sell a stock without having to own them. Please take note of the margin interest rates charged by TradeStation. Consult your TradeStation representative for more details.
